When asked 20 years later, women who feel safe and supported through their labor & birth reflect positively on their birth experience, regardless of the difficulty (Simkin, 1991).

What can a birth doula do for you?

  • Education

I will teach you about the pelvis, birthing positions, relaxation techniques, and setting expectations for your brith.

  • Family

I will teach your partner the skills necessary to be the star supporter they want to be.

  • Prepare

I will help you create a birth plan with “what if this happens” preparation to help you feel ready no matter what.

  • Continuous Support

I will provide emotional support before, during, and after labor in-person and via text/phone call.

  • Trust

I teach women to trust and be in tune with their bodies to sooth concerns surrounding birth.

Reducing anxiety associated with birth helps your body relax and accomplish what it was designed to do.

  • Prioritize Your Wishes

I am here to prioritize your birthing preferences! This is your experience and I am so excited about it!
